If you have a claim-free driving history and a no claims bonus on another car, we may offer you an introductory no claims bonus when you take out second car insurance with us. This increases depending on how many years you have driven your first vehicle claim-free, so if you have held onto your no claims bonus for five years or more your second car insurance should be significantly cheaper.
Perhaps you are retiring or changing career. If you have been driving a company car claim-free and are now transferring to your own private one, we may allow you an introductory no claims bonus which will give you cheaper car insurance.
Perhaps you are still driving that company car but want cheaper car insurance for a second car as well- maybe that little sports car you always wanted. Your second car insurance can still reward you for all those years of claim-free driving.
Another way we aim to provide you with cheaper car insurance is through our Named Driver introductory discount schemes. For example, if you have been a named driver on your spouse's or partner's policy for a number of years and have been claim and conviction free, you may be entitled to an introductory no claims bonus if you take out a policy in your own name.
